Sid's Restaurant is a family-owned diner serving American classics for the community and travelers in Winnemucca. It was initially opened by Isidro (Sid) and Isidra Ramirez, and is now run with the help of a larger team which includes their daughters. Sid got his start in the industry through working in local restaurants where he gained the knowledge and experience he uses today. Having worked his way up from being a dishwasher and biking to work, to learning the ropes of management and operation; with a dream to one day open his own place, he jumped at the opportunity to open Sid's in March of 2004. Sid and his wife have built a reputation for having a clean, welcoming environment, boasting fast, friendly service throughout the years. At Sid's, we couldn't be happier knowing that everyone that enters here a stranger can leave a friend!
